Personal Projects

I've been creating stories and characters for a very long time. My best friend and parents can attest to the crazy comics I would make up with triangle bodied people with floating heads and circles for hands. Now a days I can actually produce full bodied people (with their heads and hands attached I might add) and I continually work to expand and embellish these stories as much as my schedule will allow.

All content is ordered from newest to oldest.

Olive van Meter is finally getting out into the world - in the oddest way possible. She's left home, gotten a new look and Magicians Card and started her pilgrimage in a new Region of the world - all without letting her parents or siblings know. She wants to explore the world in a way that only she can, and do it all on her own. But will her past catch up to her before she can reach the end? Will she manage to make it to the top without losing everything in the process? Dark forces are at work in Unova, all at odds with her dreams. Only time will tell if she can overcome the unknown to reach her ultimate goal.

Updates at the end of every month.

That is, until an old evil comes back to haunt the Trueblood’s. Now it’s Lore who is the exile, looking for allies to help him reclaim his country and family while trying to stay alive, the final words of his father spurring him on; “Save us, my son.”

The Haven: Lucky Wings

The newest branch of the Havens Gifted and Talented Program is a far different facility than its keys counterpart. Where the Keys students were well trained and in control, the Colorado Division was the true superhuman asylum where the more dangerous super children were kept out of sight. While there were some good students, like the Directors Son and the UN Rep’s Son, the others were considered hazardous and had committed some type of crime due to their unstable powers. The danger for the Delta Sector only grows when their number dwindle our to mysterious forces only to reappear abused and infected by a virus seen only once before in one of their residents: Nicoleta Dalca. She’s quarantined but still the infection spreads. Its not until she receives a gift of a journal written by the Directors father that she learns where this contagion originated and how to stop it. Once she and her fellow inmates manage to escape their bonds in Colorado, Delta Sector chases after their Patient Zero in hopes of reversing their blood curse. With more cases of this ‘Super Madness’ on the loose across the world and counting, can Colette and her friends find the Prototype Gene and protect it so this disease stops spreading?

The Haven: Decker

Still living in the Keys, the Charlie Sector was considered the normal group out of the Keys Branch and the newly established Paris Division of the Gifted and Talented Program. Most of the students had their powers under control and it appeared that they would graduate without a hitch until the tides rose higher and the coast lines started moving inward. The resident Atlantean and newest student Gracie says that the ocean is angry and her people and creatures are on the move for land. Later, the Atlantean Queen declares war on the land dwellers due to their weak and flawed way of living. The new UN Treaty - The Goliath Act - states that superhuman cant interfere without the UN’s consent which ties their hands. That doesn’t stop their newly elected Director from signing over guardianship of his students to an underground group called the Golden Helix who work around the Act with their new teachers and mentors to help solve this other worldly threat.

The Haven: Zapped

Life in the Keys was heavenly for the tourists who came and went and for the resinents of the Havens Gifted and Talented Program it was home. For Jack Universe it was borderline paradise. Now he’s living large with his best friend Russel and his girlfriend Prim. When Prim is suddenly kidnapped though without warning or hint of where she was taken, the paradise starts to crumble with him shattering with it. The Haven: Ionic

But when a young girl known as Harper comes calling not for him, but for his dead father, Zach’s already abnormal life takes another crazy turn as he and his friends are dragged into the unfamiliar territory that is the world of Nephilim and Demigods. Something is encroaching on their domains, throwing the mortal plane into chaos as well. With two of their classmates having disappeared, supposedly captured by whatever it is that is snatching immortals, and fears rising that it may happen again it appears that no one is safe.
